Andworx is hiring a Power Platform Developer to provide expertise with tools and services within the M365 suite including Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), SharePoint Online, and other configuration and data management tools available within the M365 and Azure platform in support of our DoD client.

This is a dynamic position that will enable you to shape M365 solutions to transform an organization. As a candidate, you have strong technical skills with the ability to make visually pleasing low code/no code solutions, construct rich data visualizations using the Microsoft Power Platform, and excel at solutioning. You are self-starter with the drive to continuously refine and grow your skills.

You are a proactive, highly organized and will be responsible for working with business subject matter experts and key stakeholders to understand customer business processes, objectives, and needs to provide timely and effective solutions. You will provide direct expertise to customer leadership and others in support of business intelligence, business solutions, and reporting needs.

Note: Work location is currently a combination of on-site (one day per week in Arlington, VA) and remote work within the Washington, DC Metro area, but may require additional on-site workdays at the customer's request. Candidates must be within a commutable distance to the Washington, DC Metro area.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience developing and supporting solutions which address a range of business needs including portals, workflow, forms, collaboration sites, document management, or business reports utilizing tools that include Microsoft 365, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to leverage database systems including data warehouses, data marts, and models needed for business, financial, and operational analysis and/or reporting.
  • Experience performing system administration tasks, migrations, and other M365 technical tasks within the M365 environment.
  • Familiar with and able to make use of open-source industry standards (i.e., RDS, SQL) and common data platforms.
  • Experience with standard web technologies, such as CSOM, REST, JavaScript, and OData.
  • Active Secret clearance: eligibility for this job requires U.S. citizenship.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum of one (1) DoD 857001.M compliant IAT Level II certification (CCNA Security, CySA+**, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP).

Responsibilities

As Power Platform Developer you will provide substantial expertise for SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Platform, and other configuration and data management tools available in the M365 and Azure platform. Additionally, you will:

  • Partner with your team and customer’s technical team members to assist with requirements analysis and decomposition, solution design, technical architecture, implementation, and delivery of technical solutions. Assess suitability for solutions in SharePoint Online and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Engage with M365 and Power Platform practitioners within the DoD community for knowledge sharing
  • Serve as a technical resource to our customer and team by providing support and guidance to users interacting with SharePoint and Power Platform implementations.
  • Integrate SharePoint with other Microsoft products using established patterns and industry best practices.
  • Define and refine data sets within data platforms authorized for DoD use, including Microsoft data structures and open-source industry standards (RDS, SQL, etc). Perform data manipulation and cleansing to prepare datasets for visualization. Construct and deliver dashboards using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Evaluate and support the current Microsoft environment, plan migrations, test and ensure migration success, and update solutions as needed to operate correctly within new cloud environments.
  • Design and develop solutions for SharePoint that take advantage of standard web technologies, such as CSOM, REST, JavaScript, and OData.
  • Perform system administration tasks and support migration of cloud services.
  • Leverage Power Platform to integrate with external APIs to enable seamless data flow and automation.
