Andworx is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Shared Services to join our team and play a pivotal role in supporting our growth trajectory as we continue to expand our operations.

As the Director of Shared Services, you will be responsible for overseeing various essential functions critical to the efficient and compliant operation of our organization. This role requires a strategic leader that is also a hands-on doer who can manage multiple aspects of company shared service and operations function, including facility security, internal IT management, facility management, asset management, business process improvement and automation, quality management, compliance, and contract vehicle management.

This is a hybrid position with an on-site requitement of one-day per week at our company headquarters in Falls Church, VA.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, IT, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in shared services management, with a focus on FSO, IT, facility management, asset management, and quality management in Federal Government contracting environment.
  • Proven track record of success in implementing process improvements and driving automation initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and certification requirements (e.g., CMMI, ISO).
  • Experience managing compliance with federal regulations and contractual requirements.
  • Prior experience with GWAC contract vehicle management is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Aptitude and passion for learning new technologies and sharing that knowledge with teammates.
  • U.S Citizenship is required.
  • Active security clearance is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Growth and Scalability:
    • Develop and execute strategies to support the company's growth objectives and scalability initiatives.
    • Lead the development of scalable processes and systems to support increased workload and customer demands.
    • Drive innovation and continuous improvement efforts to enhance competitiveness and drive sustainable growth.
    • Support request for proposal/information solicitations, as needed.
  • Facility Security Officer (FSO):
    • Manage all aspects of the company's security program to ensure compliance with federal regulations and contractual requirements.
    • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and protocols.
    • Conduct security training for employees and oversee security clearance processes.
  • Internal IT Management:
    • Oversee internal IT services and infrastructure (mostly M365-based), including managing the Managed Services Provider (MSP) that handles day-to-day IT services.
    • Develop and implement internal IT strategies to support business objectives and ensure operational efficiency.
    • Manage IT resources and vendors to ensure reliable and secure IT services.
  • Business Process Improvement and Automation:
    • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Lead initiatives to streamline workflows and eliminate bottlenecks.
    • Implement technology solutions to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Quality Management and Certification:
    • Drive initiatives to achieve and maintain quality certifications such as CMMI and ISO.
    • Establish quality metrics and monitor performance against standards.
    • Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance product and service quality.
  • Compliance Management:
    • Ensure compliance with state, local, and contractual requirements.
    • Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address compliance risks.
  • GWAC Contract Vehicle Management:
    • Manage government-wide acquisition contract (GWAC) vehicles and associated contracts.
    • Ensure compliance with GWAC terms and conditions.
    • Facilitate contract administration and reporting requirements.
  • Facility Management:
    • Oversee facility operations, including maintenance, safety, and security.
    • Coordinate office space planning and expansion efforts to accommodate company growth.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Asset Management:
    • Develop and implement asset management policies and procedures.
    • Track and maintain inventory of company assets, including equipment and software licenses.
    • Optimize asset utilization and lifecycle management.
